About
We sell the other half of a wardrobe.
Most of what decides whether a garment still looks good in three years happens after you buy it — how it is washed, how it hangs, whether it spends a summer crushed under something heavier. Almost nobody sells for that half.
Wardrobely does, and only that. Forty-three products across five lines, covering the five specific ways a closet goes wrong. Not one of them is a garment.

Everything but the clothes.
The company behind this store, SMILETIAN CLOTHING.LLC, started in clothing. Knowing garments is the useful part of that; selling them is not. Apparel means sizes, and sizes mean three of something arrive so one can be kept — which is bad for the customer, bad for us and bad for the planet.
So we kept the knowledge and dropped the garments. We sell no clothing, no footwear and nothing you wear. Hangers, garment bags and dust covers are storage hardware — they hold clothes, they are not clothes. There are no sizes anywhere on this site, and there is no such thing as a fit return.
What we will not do
Claim a product is safe on all fabrics
No such product exists. Shavers, sprays and creams can damage cashmere, silk, knitwear and leather. Every product page names the fabrics to be careful with, and tells you to test on a hidden area first. Sometimes the honest answer is a professional cleaner, and we say so.
Make pest-control or hygiene claims
Cedar and lavender are fragrance products. They are not pesticides, they are not registered as pesticides, and we claim nothing about what they do to insects. We sell no pesticide requiring EPA registration, and we make no antibacterial, disinfecting, sanitising or dust-mite claims about anything.
Sell you a subscription
There are no memberships, no auto-renewals, no stored credit and no loyalty points here. You buy a thing once and you own it. The only recurring thing we offer is a free seasonal reminder email you can leave with one click.
Publish reviews we cannot stand behind
No invented testimonials and no purchased ones. Until we have real, verified customer reviews to publish, we publish our own notes instead — including what each product is not good at. Any incentivised review will be labelled as one.
Hide the contact details
A real email address and a real phone number, both answered by people, on every page. Not a form and a hope.
Bury the exclusions
Opened chemicals, used blades and opened aromatic products cannot come back. We tell you on the product page, in the cart, and again in a box you have to tick before the order is placed.

How we choose what to sell
- 1
It has to fix one of the five
If a product does not address a specific way a closet goes wrong, it does not go in the catalogue however well it sells elsewhere.
- 2
It has to be honest about its limits
If we cannot write a clear list of the fabrics to be careful with, we do not stock it.
- 3
It has to be adult-simple
Consumer-grade, domestic scale, no professional certification required to use it safely.
- 4
It has to survive being used
Refillable over disposable, replaceable parts over sealed units, reusable over consumable, wherever the product allows.
That filter is why there are 43 products here and not four hundred. If you want a second opinion before you buy, send us your closet on the closet plan page — it is free, and sometimes the answer we send back is “buy nothing”.
