Steam relaxes fibres instead of pressing them flat, which is why it suits wool, suiting and anything with a structured shoulder better than an iron does. This is a low-wattage domestic unit sized for a bedroom rail rather than a workroom — it heats in under a minute and holds enough water for a few garments at a time.

How to use it
- 1Hang the garment on a sturdy hanger and fill the tank with plain water.
- 2Let it heat until the ready light settles, holding the unit upright.
- 3Work from the top down, keeping the head 1–2 in from the fabric and moving.
- 4Let the garment dry on the hanger before wearing or putting it away.
Before you use it
- Steam causes burns. Never direct the nozzle at a person or a pet, and never steam a garment while it is being worn.
- Keep out of reach of children and unplug before filling or emptying.
- Fill the tank with plain water only. Do not add fragrance, vinegar or detergent.
- Let the unit cool fully before storing.
