About this product

Compressing off-season bedding and padded coats to a quarter of their volume is what frees up the shelf above the rail. The included hand pump means it works anywhere, including a rental without a vacuum to hand. Not for long-term storage of natural fibres, which need air.

Take care with
  • Wool, cashmere, down and silk — do not compress for months, natural fibres need air to keep their loft
  • Leather and fur — never compress
  • Structured tailoring — it will not recover the shape

How to use it

  1. 1Wash and fully dry everything before packing.
  2. 2Fold flat and fill the bag no more than 80%.
  3. 3Close the double zip fully, then pump out the air through the valve.
  4. 4Store flat rather than on edge so the seal holds.

Before you use it

  • Keep bags and film away from babies and small children — suffocation hazard.
  • Store the items completely dry; sealing in damp fabric invites mildew.
