About this product

Heat-activated adhesive holds a hem or a patch well enough for everyday wear and survives a normal wash. It is the practical answer for trousers that dropped a hem the morning you needed them and for reinforcing a thin spot before it becomes a hole.

Take care with
  • Wool, silk and acetate — heat can mark or shine these; not recommended
  • Waterproof and coated fabrics — adhesive will not bond and heat can damage the coating
  • Anything labelled do not iron

How to use it

  1. 1Turn the garment inside out and lay the repair area flat.
  2. 2Position the patch or tape and cover with a pressing cloth.
  3. 3Press with a hot dry iron for 30–40 seconds without sliding.
  4. 4Let it cool completely before moving the garment.

Before you use it

  • Requires a hot iron. Adult use only, and never iron a garment while it is being worn.
  • Always test on a small hidden area first, such as an inside seam or hem, before treating the whole garment.
  • Use a pressing cloth between the iron and the garment.
